{"id":96,"date":"2023-05-31T20:03:04","date_gmt":"2023-05-31T19:03:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zdebla.me\/?page_id=96"},"modified":"2023-08-07T11:49:19","modified_gmt":"2023-08-07T10:49:19","slug":"resume-bio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/zdebla.me\/index.php\/resume-bio\/","title":{"rendered":"Resume \/ Bio"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">After finishing an Air Traffic Controller (ATCO) studies in a university, in my role as a policy professional for the Directorate-General for Civil Aviation in Slovakia (since 2014), I have gained extensive experience in ATM\/ANS area, with a particular focus on the Single European Sky (<strong>SES<\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spending nearly five years as a State Liaison Officer seconded to Eurocontrol, I have come to embrace the dynamic and future-oriented working environment, dedicated colleagues, and the working methods used here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the past years I have served as a:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<li>member of the <strong>Single Sky Committee<\/strong> (established by the regulation <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/ALL\/?uri=CELEX%3A32004R0549\">No 549\/2004<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>member of the<strong> EASA Committee<\/strong> (established by the regulation <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:32018R1139\">No 2018\/1139<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<li>member\/participant of various <strong>EUROCONTROL <\/strong>fora (Standing Committee on Finance &#8211; SCF, Civil-military Stakeholder Committee- CMSC, Provisional Council &#8211; PC, Enlarged Committee on Route Charges &#8211; CER, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<li>member of the ICAO EUR\/NAT\u00b4s <strong>E<\/strong>uropean Aviation System Planning (EASPG)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local Single Sky Implementation (<strong>LSSIP+<\/strong>) State Focal point for SVK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-top:0;padding-right:0;padding-bottom:0;padding-left:0\">\n<li>member of SESAR3 JU State Representative Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>member of various aeronautical Search and Rescue (<strong>SAR<\/strong>) fora<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These experiences gave me a detailed overview of how standards and regulations are drafted, consulted, and implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have also had the pleasure and opportunity to participate in the European preparation of the ICAO Assembly and the Assembly itself twice, which was an amazing experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-large-font-size\"><strong>Digital and data skills <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have always had a natural tendency to enjoy working with digital tools and solutions, which I finally embraced after many years as part of my studies. I started with the popular Harvard\u00b4s <strong>CS50 <\/strong>courses, which tough me the foundtations of abstraction, algorithms, data structures, encapsulation, resource management, security, software engineering, and web development. Languages includde C, Python, SQL, and JavaScript plus CSS and HTML. Honestly I have not finished the course as I was not interested in the final projects consisting of using CSS and HTML. This course however tough me a great deal of basics and I am grateful for the experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After CS50 I had some fun with <strong>Python <\/strong>projects, while starting to study the data analytics\/<strong>business intelligence<\/strong> courses, which became my <strong>main focus<\/strong>. You can find the list of the courses I completed (am finishing) in <a href=\"https:\/\/zdebla.me\/index.php\/coursework-certificates\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"70\">this section.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I enjoy using <strong>SQL<\/strong> (my experience includes running engines like Apache Hive and Impala on VMs), <strong>Excel <\/strong>(especially <strong>pivots <\/strong>and <strong>Power Query<\/strong>), <strong>Power BI<\/strong>, <strong>Tableau <\/strong>and other BI platforms (Looker Studio).
